About Me

Hi, I’m Meriha Bowden, Founder and Goal Support Specialist at Goalmate Services. My journey—both personal and professional—has shaped a deep understanding of the unique challenges individuals face when navigating life’s demands, especially those with neurodivergence or similar hurdles.

Growing up undiagnosed with ADHD in the 80s and 90s, I experienced the disconnect of excelling academically while struggling with organization and daily tasks. Despite acing tests and a love for mathematics, I often grappled with what others considered “basic” routines. This early experience taught me empathy and fueled my passion for helping others overcome similar challenges.

Over the years, I’ve cultivated a diverse set of skills through roles that demanded patience, adaptability, and problem-solving:

  • As a nanny, home health aide, and day facility manager, I supported clients with developmental disabilities, tailoring techniques to help them thrive.

  • As a construction plumber and foreman, I mentored apprentices, broke barriers in a male-dominated field, and learned how to earn respect while fostering teamwork.

  • As a Learning Trainer and Operations Lead at Amazon, I drove teams to excel, developed personalized coaching programs, and improved morale and productivity by over 28%.

What truly sets me apart is my ability to identify strengths and challenges, create actionable strategies, and empower individuals to achieve their goals. I’ve seen firsthand—both as a parent to three neurodivergent children and as a leader—that success isn’t about doing things the “typical” way. It’s about finding what works best for each person.

I founded Goalmate Services to fill a crucial gap for individuals who need real, in-person motivational support. As a professional body double, I partner with clients to tackle tasks, maintain focus, and foster accountability. My approach is not just rooted in my personal experience but also in professional training:

  • Certifications in CPR and First Aid for added safety.

  • Expertise in developmental aid and understanding diverse learning styles.

  • Proven results in fostering trust and collaboration to achieve measurable goals.

Whether working with individuals diagnosed with ADHD, those recovering from life challenges, or anyone needing a supportive presence, I create an environment of understanding and empowerment. My services are particularly well-suited for recommendations by medical professionals, as I bring not only lived experience but also a professional, structured approach to supporting individuals on their path to success.

At Goalmate Services, I’m here to be more than just a helping hand—I’m a trusted partner in turning aspirations into achievements. Let’s take the next step together.
